Join the Adventure

So you’re thinking about joining? We knew you would!

Ready to begin your adventure? We’re open to requests to join from all young people (who fall into our 6-14 yrs age range). We’ll get back to you as promptly as possible – although our volunteers are very busy, so we apologise if it takes us a while – and welcome you along. There are five sections you can join, depending on your age. The activities and opportunities vary but what is the same is that each will empower you to make friends, learn skills and try new things. If you’d like to join as a young person, get in touch here!

Adult Volunteers

Volunteering for Scouting is easier than you think and one of the most fun, rewarding and positive things you can ever do. You can give as much or as little time you like. Whether you can spare an hour a month or a day a year, we will match opportunities that fit your skills and time available. We have opportunities both behind the scenes and working with young people in uniform. With full support and training, you can experience the fun, friendship and adventure of Scouting for yourself, all on a flexible basis. You do not need any previous Scout experience and we welcome everyone, both male and female and with no upper age limit. You do not even have to camping if you do not want to!
To find out more about volunteering in any capacity, please get in touch with us here. There are also a few specific vacancies that we are looking to fill below.
