Last Saturday was Avon County Scouts Bear Hunt event which featured many famous bears including the Chief Scout – Bear Grylls – visiting Ashton Court and Bristol Docks along with thousands of Scouts from across the County.  Six scouts attended from the 28th, met the Chief Scout and tried out the actitvities at the Bear Hunt, which included water zorbing, inflatables and lots of candy floss!

Not to be outdone by the Scouts, Bathampton Cubs also met Bear at thier District Cub Camp at the Wiltshire Scout camp site in Potterne on Saturday. Bear flew in by helicopter and spent time talking and signing autographs with the Cubs, before departing on his trip around the South West to visit other Scout Counties.
